After years of supermarket dominance it’s time to reclaim our high streets. And with recent retail sales figures showing small stores outperforming the supermarkets, we could just be seeing the first signs that consumers are falling out of love with the major multiples. In a special panel discussion at Natural & Organic Products Europe we’ll be hearing from some of the figures in the debate on the future of retailing. We’ll also be talking with independent natural and organic retailers who are offering healthy diversity on their high streets and playing their part in securing a level playing field for community retailers.
In a special live interview format at this year’s Natural & Organic Products Europe, Britain’s leading spokesperson on nutrition in the media, Patrick Holford, and award-winning medical journalist Jerome Burne answer questions about their highly anticipated new book The 10 Secrets of Healthy Ageing.
Dr Justin Roberts sets out to connect the audience to the scientific elements of optimal nutrition for exercise and sports performance to more practical aspects applied during sporting events. His talk will have a strong practical accent, demonstrating how both wholefoods and nutritional supplementation can be employed as a meaningful strategy to support the needs of the exercising individual through to the ultra and elite athlete.
