Andrew ‘Koj’ Kojima
Andrew Kojima ‘Koj’ (better known to MasterChef viewers as Andrew) comes from a British-Japanese heritage that makes him one of the most naturally talented and imaginative chefs in the UK. After reaching the pinnacle of amateur cooking success in the final of MasterChef 2012, he embarked on life as a professional chef beginning with a fast track training programme in the kitchens of chefs such as Michel Roux Jr, Gordon Ramsay and Heston Blumenthal. Now working as a chef, cookery teacher, food consultant and writer, he makes guest chef appearances at pop ups, cookery courses and food festivals around the UK. He has written for Spear’s Magazine, Cotswold Life and is a judge of both the Great Taste Awards and the World Cheese Awards.
